Refund Policy

Want a refund? No problem! We happily refund items for Store Credit only. We do not offer money back. 

We want you to have a great customer experience with The Tropical Coconut and we know it's more reassuring knowing you can return your item for a refund for whatever reason if you wish.

We will happily refund your order for store credit! but before anything, please contact us first at thetropicalcoconut@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your item to be approved. Please do not send any items back without doing this as we reserve the right to refuse unknown deliveries to our warehouse.

We do not accept refunds for any items bought whilst discounted / purchased using discount code or promotion code / purchased on sale. These are considered final sale. 

We can only refund your order providing the following requirements are met:

  • The item/s are in original condition with original hangtags and labels still attached.
  • The item/s have not been worn, used, washed or altered in any way.
  • The item/s hygiene stickers must still be attached to the bikinis both sides.

Please Note: Due to the nature of selling swimwear and the given hygiene issues, if the above requirements are not met upon inspection, we reserve the right to cancel the refund request and your original item will be returned to you.

What about shipping costs? 

The customer is responsible for ALL shipping costs that will occur. If any duty charges occur upon delivery to our warehouse you will also be required to cover these costs.

1. How do I organise a refund?

Please read all information below, we will provide full instructions once you have emailed us and been approved.

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving items via email at thetropicalcoconut@gmail.com with your order number and why you would like a refund.

After emailing us we will inform you of all the necessary steps you need to do in order to start your refund. 

2. Packing and shipping your item

It is your responsibility to make sure your item gets to us safely. This means using original packaging and we strongly recommend using a registered postal service with tracking.

The Tropical Coconut is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

3. How long will a refund take? 

We will try our best to make every process as quick as possible, after emailing us first at thetropicalcoconut@gmail.com we hope to respond to you within 48 hours.

How fast the items get back to us depends on the registered postal service option you use. 

Once the item gets back to our warehouse the process will be quick, After inspecting your items to make sure all mandatory requirements mentioned above are met we process your store credit refund which could take up to 3 business days

We will keep you updated every step of the way.

*Store credit will be given as a unique one time use discount code. The customer is responsible for the use of this code. All discount codes expire after 6 months from day of issue.
